Online Puja for NRIs — Book a Pooja from Anywhere in the World
Living abroad should not mean missing your family's poojas. Book a Vedic pandit online: he can lead the pooja live at your home by video, or perform it in India in your name and gotra and send you the video.
Three ways to book a pooja from abroad
Live online pooja at your home
A pandit leads the full pooja over a video call — mantras, sankalp and every step — while your family performs the offerings at home. Scheduled for your time zone.
Puja performed in India in your name
Our pandits perform the pooja in India with your name, gotra and family members in the sankalp. You can join live by video on request, and receive the video and photos.
Festival poojas (sankalp)
Join Navratri, Ekadashi, Diwali and other festival poojas performed in India for many families together, from a small contribution in your own currency.

- Share the sankalp details — names, gotra, nakshatra (optional) and the purpose of the pooja.
- Pay securely — festival poojas in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, AED, SGD, NZD or INR; international Visa and Mastercard accepted.
- Join or receive the pooja — join live by video, and get the video and photos on WhatsApp.
Pooja timings: India time vs your time zone
Morning poojas in India fall in the evening or night in North America and very early in the UK. India does not use daylight saving, so the gap changes by an hour when your clocks change.
| Where you live | India (IST) is ahead by (your summer / winter time) | Example |
|---|---|---|
| USA — Eastern (New York, New Jersey) | 9 h 30 min (summer) / 10 h 30 min (winter) | 7:00 AM IST = 9:30 PM / 8:30 PM previous evening |
| USA — Pacific (California, Seattle) | 12 h 30 min / 13 h 30 min | 7:00 AM IST = 6:30 PM / 5:30 PM previous evening |
| Canada — Toronto | 9 h 30 min / 10 h 30 min | 7:00 AM IST = 9:30 PM / 8:30 PM previous evening |
| United Kingdom — London | 4 h 30 min / 5 h 30 min | 7:00 AM IST = 2:30 AM / 1:30 AM — choose a later slot |
| UAE — Dubai | 1 h 30 min (no daylight saving) | 7:00 AM IST = 5:30 AM |
| Australia — Sydney | India is behind by 4 h 30 min (Apr–Oct) / 5 h 30 min (Oct–Apr, daylight saving) | 7:00 AM IST = 11:30 AM / 12:30 PM |
For a pooja at your home abroad, the pandit calculates tithi and muhurat for your city — dates can differ by a day from India. Read more in our pooja and festival guides.

Questions from NRI families
Can a pooja be done in India on my behalf while I live abroad?
Yes. Our pandits perform the pooja in India with a sankalp in your name, gotra and family members’ names. You can join live by video on request, and we send the video and photos on WhatsApp afterwards.
How does an online pooja with a pandit work?
You book a slot, we send a samagri list, and on the day the pandit joins by video call (Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp). He chants the mantras and guides each step while your family performs the offerings at home.
What details do you need for the sankalp?
The full names of the people the pooja is for, your gotra (if you know it — Kashyap gotra is traditionally used when it is not known), and optionally your nakshatra or rashi and the purpose of the pooja.
How are muhurat and timings handled across time zones?
For a pooja performed in India, the muhurat is calculated for India. For a pooja at your home abroad, the pandit calculates tithi and muhurat for your own city, because they depend on local sunrise.
Can I pay in US dollars, pounds or other currencies?
Yes. Festival poojas can be paid in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, AED, SGD, NZD or INR through Razorpay. International Visa and Mastercard cards are accepted.
